How to use this site

Our objective is to assist the golfer in choosing where to play, and to assist suppliers in promoting their golf facilities – by supplying them with videos and photos primarily for use on their own websites and promotions.

In addition, on this site we do this through:

• The Video Guide to Golf Courses: video reviews of golf clubs, their courses and other facilities
• photogolf.eu course tours, using images of each hole generally taken from the player’s viewpoint, to enable golfers to obtain an authentic impression of what it is like to play the course
• Written reviews, generally summarising the design and other relevant features of the golf course

Objectivity

For transparency, we disclose that clubs whose courses are included on this site have generally paid for videos or images to be published. However, the written editorial is editorial, not advertorial. The course ratings are independently provided by The Pocket Guide to Golf Courses.

Feedback

We welcome feedback from readers. We will publish all reasonable comments on the golf facilities visited.

Prices

One processed image of each of the 18 holes of a client course, plus access to all raw images created at the shoot (normally well over 200), are available by subscription from as little as £100 per month. More details.

The guide price for videos is £1,000 per minute of footage published, plus expenses. We recommend that videos should be no more than about 3 minutes. More details.

Videos and photos (without the watermarks seen on this site) posted are available to golf suppliers to circulate to tour operators, press, potential customers, etc, as they please.

Special discounts are available for any course already included in The Pocket Guide to Golf Courses books (Spain, Portugal and Ireland) and/or Caché+/C+Golf magazines (ditto, plus a selection of courses in Bermuda, The Czech Republic, France, India, Italy, the UAE and the UK).
